Do you offer stats
on my visitors, like what their IP address is, what browser their
using, and so on?
Oh Yea! For more information on the stats that we provide, click
here to view a popup all about our 100% free visitor statistics!
What about an invisible counter?
I don’t like the numbers showing everything to the world…
Of course. Would you have expected anything else? We do offer
simply the best free counter service out there and it wouldn’t
really be complete without at least offering you the use of an
invisible counter! Click

I want to start my counter at a
number other than 1. How?
Real simple. When you sign up for a counter, we ask you for the
starting number to be displayed. And that’s what we ad to
your account the first time that the counter is shown (On the
final page of the sign up process). Pretty straight forward, but
please note that once that number has been set, it is set in stone
and CAN NOT be changed without starting all over again!
I want to change or reset the count
on my existing counter. How?
You don’t. For security purposes, once the first number
has been set for a page, it’s done and can only be changed
by people actually visiting your page. Sorry!
Please note that we will not respond to contacts
requesting changes be made to the number shown on a counter.
Can I change the style
of my counter in the middle of using it?
Sure, just sign up for a new counter using the exact same page
name and replace the code on your page. Our server tracks the
graphic used and the data collected separately, so if you do that,
it will show the old data with the new shiny and clean style!
How do I find my stats page?
There are two ways to find your stats page:
| |
If you have chosen to display stats with your
counter, just click on the part of our name that says ‘Counter Stats ’
to open your stats page in a new window. Simple. |

Please note that we will not respond to contacts
requesting a copy of a link to a specific counter statistics page.
Help: My counters not
working!
Since our counters are free, we do not offer support on them for
the majority of problems. That being said, there are actually
only a few common reasons why this could be the case, and here’s
a few of them:
Q.) There’s nothing
but a bunch of funky looking text on my page where I want
the counter to go.
A.) If you see any text other than the advertisement
on your page after you tried to set up your counter, chances
are very god that you pasted the code into the visible
part of your page like it were text. Just delete it, and
be sure to paste the code into the CODE part of you pages
and you should be all set.
Q.) All I see are a box
with a red X and your ad. What’s up?
A.) If you are seeing this, the good news is that you
pasted the code into your page right and would have expected
to see a counter. The bad news is that the code that you
pasted got messed up somewhere along the line and is now
corrupted. To fix it, go back to our home page and sign
up for a new counter using the same details, and try again.
99% of the time, this fixes the problem.
Q.) All I see on my page
is the ad, but not the counter or red x’s. Why?
A.) OK, while we honestly should just let you figure
it out on your own, we recognize that this might happen
inadvertently to an innocent person, so we’re going
to explain it. Since our counters are supported by advertisements,
taking them off is basically stealing from us. Once someone
has done that on a domain, we terminate their account,
and send a small invisible graphic in the place of the
counter (Since each time a counter is viewed costs us
money, this cuts down on the cost as much as possible)
to all pages on their domain. This stays on there forever.
And this is what’s happening 99% of the time when
nothing is showing after pasting in the code. If you just
bought the domain or the site, perhaps the previous owner
tried to steal our services and was blocked. If so, feel
free to contact us and let us know that you plan on complying
with our terms, and we’ll remove the block from
the domain or IP address.
|
If none of that helps you, let us know about the problem and
we’ll try and give you a hand. Probably we won’t
reply, but if you’re lucky, we may choose to reply if
you ask nicely. (Here’s the secret to getting our attention:
use the words ‘golf club’ in your request, and then
we’ll know you actually read this stuff first and will
be more inclined to help…)
Also, pointing out problems, issues, and other items to us
might help us make an improvement for the future!
